10:30 AM - LEARN TO DRAW BIRDS & INSECTS

Suggested Ages: 8 years - adult

Cost: $15 / person

Get ready to observe the fascinating forms of insects and birds. We’ll break them down, and learn to draw them shape by shape! All supplies are included and participants will leave this session with a sketchbook and plenty of handouts to continue developing their skills.

12:30 PM - SPRING ART WITH BABY 

Suggested Ages: 0-5 years + adult guardian

Cost: $20 / parent with child + $5 / additional family member

Enjoy the process of creating art with your little one! Prepare to get messy and creative as we explore spring-themed art techniques using non-toxic materials and engaging art tools.

2:30 PM - PRINTMAKING & PLANTABLE WILDFLOWER CARDS

Suggested Ages: 5 years - adult

Cost: $30 / person

Create your very own stamp, and print your design onto plantable cards embedded with a blend of wildflower seeds. You’ll leave this workshop with a set of thoughtful gifts that grow!

6:30 PM - ALL AGES BUTTERFLY PAINT ALONG

Suggested Ages: 10 years - adult

Cost: $22.50 / person

Follow along step-by-step or put your own creative spin on a butterfly masterpiece! No painting experience is necessary for this family friendly evening of painting in the park.

Weather dependent, we may enjoy these sessions outside or on the beautiful outdoor patio, so please dress accordingly. Complimentary juice, coffee and tea will be available, please consider bringing a reusable cup / mug along to save on waste.

WOOFFEST & PETSAVE WALKATHON

The Grand Opening of MindMelt Art Collective is this weekend! If you’re in Sudbury and looking for unique art and gifts then you’ll want to check out this new retail space, a vision brought to life by local artist Mark Gagne of Mindmelt Studio. Located on the upper floor of the downtown mall (now Elm Place), you’ll be able to browse and purchase artwork from a handful of local artists offering something different - myself included! There is a hefty door prize to be won and some welcome treats if you stop-in this Saturday.

Looking for a last minute Mother’s Day gift? I’ve got you covered. Join me for a supportive and beginner friendly evening of painting / creative quality time with mom! Happening this Wednesday, May 15th at Respect Is Burning Kitchen & Bar.

“Summer Sunflowers” will most likely be my last Paint Along event until the fall, so it’s also a great one to join in on if you’ve got unused vouchers, bogo coupons or gift certificates.

Otherwise, I am open for booking private paint parties all summer long! Price structure is a $250 flat fee + $17 / person for supplies. I will travel anywhere in Greater Sudbury or beyond for an additional travel fee. Pick your painting or let me create a custom work for your group! I’ll bring everything we need to paint, right down to the aprons and tablecloths. You provide the space and painters, setup and cleanup is on me!

CLASS VISITS

WoofFest 2024 was a great success! My pet art list is officially ½ full for 2024/2025. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and signed up for a custom work of their beloved pet. I also spent that day making fun, little 5 min. sketches of the doggos who visited my booth. And guess what? $300 was raised from your donations! All of the proceeds have been shared with Magical Paws Pet Therapy. A non-profit, volunteer-run organization offering the service of pet therapy to long-term care homes, retirement homes, schools and more in the Sudbury area.
